I used this program for a number of years, then they introduced some adverts (can not blame them), which, after months of problems, was removed. Now it's intermittent, even with the additional WPMQ regulator. I am using shared server in Texas, and have over 1200 in the list. Switched to Mail Chimp. Subscribe2 is nice and simple, and I am still using it on a couple of lists of about 200. I suggest changing the value on the
$this->excerpt_length = apply_filters('s2_excerpt_length', 3055);
so the full extract will be viewable within the emails. I do like the fact that the emails are sent out right away when posted.

As much functionality this plugin has, it is far from user friendly.
Thanks for making this plugin. However, it's rather unpractical that you can't see the plugin when you're logged in at your blog. It takes away the fun and easiness that you have to log out everytime you want to see how your plugin looks in the sidebar. I would rate it five stars if you fixed this.
Struggles with pages (used as a placeholder for confirmation messages in Ajax version). Basically the page you first use gets stuck in its memory. Changing pages really messes it up. And the echoed shortcode embedded in themes won't go to the same page as the widget version (I use both in my theme).
Apart from that, and the br element inserted between the label and the input (what a pain! can't style that too easily)works very nicely.
