Easy to monitor changes made by users. Easy to customize. Very nice interface. I love it.
Stream is, in my mind, hands-down the best monitering plugin I've ever used on my site. It seems fully compatible with WordPress, and surprisingly doesn't slow down the site at all when in use, which is surprising considering how much it does.
Stream is probably one of the few plugins here on WordPress I'd give a full 5 star rating, but it's earned it. Nice work to whoever developed this! As long as Stream stays compatible with the latest WordPress versions released, I'll be happy to keep using it! :)
I love the new approach taken for v3! I use this on all of my client sites, and it's invaluable. It's easy to detect when changes are made by clients that affect the site. You can use this information to blame and/or scold them, or you can simply identify the problem and quietly fix it.
I've used Stream to:
Great work, Stream Team!
Stream is back on track and is a good plugin to have installed, keeping track of what's happening behind the scenes in your WordPress site.
Thanks Stream devs!
I had no idea Stream existed until one of the devs mentioned it in the WordPress Australia slack chat. I decided to try it out and quickly fell in love with it, it's one of those plugins that you don't know you need until you find it. I did find a couple of issues but these were addressed promptly and they have a good system set up on Github. I believe this plugin could be invaluable for many sites and I'll certainly be recommending it.
This is one of those plugins that you don't know you need, but once you find it and use it, you could not imagine running a WP site without it. As a web developer it is invaluable for seeing who did what that suddenly made the site crash, or all the text turn yellow, and I find it especially useful when letting plugin developers into the back end to fix problems.
Easy to install and use.
A big Thumbs Up to the Stream Team for making such an excellent plugin.
It is really comforting when having Stream installed to be able to see the changes that users are making to the site. When working with a less-technical client, having Stream is really helpful in a support request to be able to understand what they may have done wrong.
Disclosure: I've contributed to this project and I am affiliated with it.
I've followed Stream closely over the years and became a "Pro" subscriber with the 2.0 release. Stream had a lot of growing pains and while I was willing to go along with it I wasn't a big fan of the move to the cloud. I've been thrilled to see the "return to basics" with this 3.0 release and I'm excited to see where Stream goes from here.
Great plugin that has gone back to its strong roots. Really handy when working on a site with a team and I want to check out recent activity.
Stream does the job for admin logs and looks great!
