It depends from website
By ,

I want to explain better my opinion abbout stallion plugin like I had tried before in the post comments marquix.

I hate this kind of introducing :

Stallion WordPress SEO Plugin was created to enhance WordPress SEO plugins like Yoast and All In One SEO that damage a sites SEO by using nofollow.

I worked and I've been working as Seo consultant for alomost ten years. The true is Yoast is right, Stallion is right...From my experience it depends from the website. Both are right Yoast and Stallion together. Nofollow improve website ranking in some cases but damage website in some cases. Rel=canonical just at the first page of archives, like Stallion advice, damage some website as improve some website.

The only way like i did it? Test both with different websites

Hard to See the Advantage
By , for WP 4.1.1

Running several LAMP blogs for 15+ years, including numerous WP installs a bit later on (having started w/ WP Ver 2.0, if I am not mistaken), I have ranked rather decently -- as in above-the-fold page-1-listed -- and never saw any real trouble with Search Engine penalties or similar.

To sell a Plugin predominantly on a "fear factor" that inexperienced users might mis-configure Yoast's (excellent) stuff and *then* risk dis-advantages seems both unreasonable and unfair to me. Configurability (as with SEO by Yoast) is, on the contrary, a good thing, and you might want to use nofollow in certain situation even these days.

You usually do not drive a Chrysler just because it's (a little) better than a totaled BMW either...

Still, the "Stallion SEO Plugin" is doing just that. Frankly, I neither see that alleged superiority of this plugin nor does a comparison between a "correctly set" Stallion SEO Plugin and others when they are "incorrectly set" resonate. It rather appears that we are dealing with self-proclaimed "experts" trying to trump competing Plugins at any price here. A real reason for moving from tested-and-proven Plugins like SEO by Yoast, SEO Ultimate, or SEO-UK-Team's "SEO" to this one here has yet to be given.

High-pressure sales schemes by igniting some actually unwarranted fear are not enough.

wrong

clearly written by another bedroom SEO expert/developer. Most of the advice is quite simply incorrect, and there are very good reasons for using nofollow if done properly.

Good SEO Plugin

Could do with a few additions but on the whole it's a pretty solid SEO plugin.

What I was just looking for!
By , for WP 3.9.1

I don't like to look around configuring stuff for the sake of SEO. I just want to click, and click and click, and Stallion proves to be useful in terms of saving me time on building up a good SEO campaign. Now I just need to post and post and post to improve the SEO. :)

Thanks for your hard work and I really appreciate it. Keep it up!

As for the 1 star ratings, I'm pretty sure they're maybe robots/trolls or competitors that wants to degrade this plugin. It's good that you're quite honest and your plugin is really well-documented. I wish I could have a good use for your Stallion Theme but as of now, I have already done the designs for my websites and I already like how it turned out.

4 stars if updated

I like plugins that are maintained and updated to keep up with wordpress. I like this plugin for it being a unique SEO plugin and its 4 stars worth if you could update it. xd
