Great developer _ great plugin!

Very pleased with customer service and custom work done. Everything delivered as promised and on time. I'm glad I ignored the negative reviews and went forward with my project with Anthony. Great developer!

Terrible support, even for premium version

I needed a robust, secure document manager solution including excluding access per role, search, filetree hierarchies, etc.

At first this looked very promising. I purchased over $300 worth of their plugins and add-ons for a complicated project assuming that the support would match.

There was an issue where hierarchical permissions were not propagating through subfolders as the plugin advertised they should. I submitted a support ticket and received a response 24 hours later to "update my plugin to the latest version". I responded that I was using the most current version and the problem persisted.

Then .. nothing. I even followed up a couple days later. It's been 3 weeks and they still haven't responded to the ticket.

Keep in mind, this is from their PREMIUM support as I purchased their Pro plugin.

STAY AWAY. Find another solution.

Poor user interface

Very Difficult to Figure out

This plugin is marked as a document and project manager. The document manager portion of this works pretty well, it uploads and download files and sorts them into folders. As a project manager it doesn't work very well. Most of the 'project manager' features are only available as paid downloads. For the most part they were very difficult to figure out. The documentation is not complete and there are very few instructions on how to use the plugins. Overall this is a good piece of software, but for the paying customers the add on pieces are not great, do not work correctly and the support is not very good. They always responded to questions, but usually just to tell me that the problem wasn't happening.

Excellent implementation and follow-up

I have an had such a wonderful experience with this plug-in I had to write a review. First of all, every email and call has been returned promptly. That means a lot when you're a novice like me.

Also, their tools have been an excellent solution for my business.

I have streamlined a lot of what I do and saved money and time chasing paper with their tools.

Can't wait for any new roll-outs!!

Support second to none

Excellent support and response time. Tiered add-ons make it easy to customize the plugin to the needs of the client. Professionally designed plugin with easy to use feature-rich interface.

Horrible Customer Service

I rarely post reviews but this one got under my skin. After I was finally able to reach someone and explain my situation, I was told there was nothing that could be done. Which, okay fine I'll never be using any of your products again. Then, I was basically told he doubted if it is even a problem with that plugin and asked to give specific details. In the middle of typing (which the chat window clearly showed that I was typing) I was told he was leaving for lunch. Strongly DO NOT recommend any of these products - especially if you need to contact the rude customer service.

Worst Customer Service

Hi Smarty Pants,

I am only posting here because no one replied my emails, messages, 3 open tickets and live chat I've sent in the last 1 month. Because of the different timezone, I have stayed up till 5am to utilise the 'live chat' function on your website but all I got was a link to the refunds policy from Dave, who has since disappeared.

I understand that not all plug in authors are comfortable or willing to process a refund, especially when it's due to a customers negligence to fully research on the product before purchase. In my defence, I've researched intensively on the best project management plugin & many reviews pointed me this way. Unfortunately, this plug-in just does not meet our requirements.

What disappoints me the most, however, is the lack of customer service - all my requests through emails, messages, tickets and live chats were brutally ignore. No one wrote back to explain that no refunds can be done whatsoever. As a founder myself, I find this to be very irresponsible and deceitful habits of a company.

This reflects very poorly on the characters of the authors and culture of the company. Personally, I would not recommend purchase from anyone this untrustworthy no matter how great the product is. To potential buyers, I would urge you to look elsewhere. And to SmartyPants, I hope you are proud of your operations as a company.

Looked good overall except

Except you cant create sub folders without upgrading for $45. Seems that should be a basic feature.
