It did not scale down properly on mobile devices.
Not even on paid version
Immediately on starting up, I hit the deal breaker - you can't even select an image from the media library! You have to upload afresh. An ill-disguised attempt to force you to pay for the full version. Now uninstalled again (after some alarms - it's shown in the plugin list as Response, not as Soliloquy!)
You can't add pictures from your Library. Free version is so limited I uninstalled it.
Didn't try the paid version and I won't.
I bought the personal license. Built my first slider. Hit 'Apply', got a white page and '500 Error'.
Tried again, Hit 'Save', got the same '500 Error'.
Went to documentation.
Saw Instructions: "Get Chrome Browser" (I will not!).
Disable theme and go back to 'current theme' (I will not!).
Disable all plugins, re-activate one by one until you find the problem: (I will not, my theme and ALL of my plugins worked perfectly before adding Soliloquy Premium).
I FOUND the problem: It is called Soliloquy!
One more note: Soliloquy's 'Support' section is simply filled with problems which have not been responded to in months.
I deleted Soliloquy, installed a FREE slider, and everything works perfectly.
I am sure the paid version of this plugin is great but this lite version is missing the most basic function: Choosing images from your wordpress media library. Instead you have to upload images directly and cannot access your media library. One star as this makes is useless.
Bought it - but unfortunately does not work every time correctly with Windows Phone, despite if mobile mode is enabled or not. It halts in rendering/loading the image in endless loop, when entering the site. did go through all the possible settings and tweaking... no luck.
I spent 1 hour trying to make a slider occupying the full width and it didn't work out. The images where either shrinked or cropped. It may be responsive, but it makes it uncontrollable.
Uninstalled it already.
Could no load from Library
Getting kind of tired of these plugins that provide nothing unless you pay. If you want to play in the open source market, provide function. If you want to make money on you plugin, be honest and state it up front.
Says "Usage of a custom post type to create an unlimited number of WordPress sliders", yet seems to just be a basic image slider. Can't point it to a custom post type for it to be turned into a slider. If that is a pro feature don't pretend it is part of the lite version. And if there is no way to see if the plugin works without buying it, why would I buy it?
