A fast plugin for sharing on top social networks, eMail, making HTML links, short links, translations, helping explore your site & Follow you...
My blog is busy, and this plugin is exactly what I need. Thanks!
O plugin seria 1000 vezes melhor se não ficasse aparecendo aquele icone do plugin.
In my opinion, it's purely a matter of taste/what you are looking for: this plugin works, but:
- it's "1 click" limited to FB, Twitter and G+ (see bellow)
- on FB, the "1 click" like button is for a post, not for your page (kind of miss the point in this, since this corresponds more to the "share" concept)
- the idea of like/follow+share is OK, but icon disposition is confusing
- Sure, you can go to the last 2 icons for more sharing options...but good luck in convincing your user to go for 2 clicks to share on other social networks (and/or go to an "external site" to do it).
I believe one should be extremely cautious when criticizing the work of others, respecting all the time they devoted. Socializer! mentions even a demo page where one can see the plugin in action, therefore a chance for deceit is not even possible.
I originally built this for myself, because I wanted a central sharing panel without making all of my pages heavy with scripts etc.
Since version 8.0 Socializer! loads immediately in a blog's pages sharing scripts and icons for the top social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus), postponing only the secondary networks, this way achieving a greater balance, still saving bandwidth for a site, ensuring a speedier experience for visitors, and convenience for all. I hope you enjoy this plugin.
This plugin is a scam, it will insert on every page of your site a link to their website!
Surely, the KISS principle is not alive and well. As far as I can see, the plugin works flawlessly. The problem is it makes the user jump through too many hoops to use it.
First, they have to click on the graphic.
Second, they have to look for the network they want to choose.
Third, if it isn't visible, they have to click on another button to see more choices.
Fourth, finally, they can like or tweet.
How many people are likely to go through that?
I really wanted to like it.
