Easily display posts grouped by year and month, in one or more elegant formats
Super simple way to create an archives page. It was such a relief after struggling to create one with code. Thanks!
This plugin looks nice to me. It works great. If you want to see an example you can look at my archive here:

I tried many other archiving plugins and this gave me what I was wanting.
Simple and useful
love it !
looks perfect, works perfectly
I went in to change the way this plugin displays archives (I don't want to show months) and imagine my utter delight when I discovered that the PHP itself was well organized and well written. Two stars just for that. And then! THEN! I found that the actual html for displaying the archives was in a TEMPLATE! a clean, easy Mustache template with no random PHP embedded in it! Amazing! It took me 5 seconds to make it look exactly the way I wanted to.
Now, this doesn't sound like something especially worth crowing about. Right? That's the way code is always supposed to be. But I've been working with WordPress for several weeks now and this is the first plugin/theme/add-on/anything I've found that was well structured, with separation of concerns, and easy to template without tons of repetitive, copy-pasta PHP in the middle of html where it does not belong.
Thanks dude. You made my day.
Fancy mode, which is the best feature of this plugin in my opinion, requires all the years to be displayed in one row. Of course, the older the blog is, the more years you'll have. This is an unsustainable design. The blog I'm working on is seven years old, and therefore can't fit all the years on one row. The little arrow function becomes useless. Much of the css is difficult to edit or override due to !important tags everywhere. Overall, a bit of a pain to work with.
Otherwise, the rest of the plugin works well as long as you're not using fancy mode.
The most impressive feature is that you can go through the years an months of your archive without reloading the page.
You can also customize the appearance of the articles by adding tags and classes and selecting the fields to display (title, category, date etc) and the order of display.
Works well with 3.6.1. Creates a beautiful, working archive. Thanks!
This Plugin works well. Right now I am only archiving about 300 posts per month...and just started..so will see if it slows down as my archives grow as per Dave Bonta's review states.
Did a bit of customizing to the css in my theme file custom css area to get the look I want...no biggie.
its not work with latest wordpress version
