This plugin is very easy to use and isn't flaky as far as I can tell.
A very nice plugin, thanks. You may want to know that in developer mode (all errors and warnings showing), i am getting this notice:
Notice: Undefined variable: custom_tooltip_active in F:\projects-active\tourwriter.com\2015-08\www\wp-content\plugins\simple-tooltips\index.php on line 566
It's a simple fix and i've made it on my copy for now. Hopefully with the next update this will go away ;)
The plugin works well and does all that it is promised to do.
In future versions I would appreciate as new feature the possibility to set in the configuration a general style for the inline text. This would make it easier to have consistent styling without having to copy & paste between the posts of all style='...'.
As default I suggest a dotted underscore (so that readers are able to see where is a tooltip available) and to change the cursor to "?" on mouseover.
I use the old methode (class="tooltips") and it is dead simple to use in my php template.
Could use some options to set the font family and size on the option page, but easy to edit in css.
Seems to work just fine with WP 4.22, been using it for 2 months, happy I tried it.
The heading says it all really. Its a superb little plugin that just did exactly what I wanted. I styled it to my requirements (have a look - http://www.lolly5000.com/camiknickers/ ) and it works on mobile devices. Very pleased!
A few more settings adjustments such as percentage of width for mobile devices would make it perfect. I tried percentage in the general settings and while it worked, it displayed all the markup code in the tooltip.
Great plugin :) thanks a lot
Thank you for your tooltips. They are fantastic!
Help me a lot
