Simple Subscribe is the subscribe plugin you have been waiting for. It's simple to use, yet powerful, bulletproof and developers friendly. Automa
When I tried to subscribe using the widget I got an SQL error. Worse yet the widget SHOWS THE SQL in the browser so any user can read my table prefix! Not good practice. Promptly uninstalled.
Not sure if there is a problem with settings, but I noticed that the system will not send a subscription confirmation email to our staff member. I've tried to trouble shoot and the only speculation that I can see is that the email address is the same as the URL (email@example.com and http://www.sample.com). I've tested external email addresses and the system functions correctly. Any thoughts?
Thank you to the devs who made this plugin. It was pretty easy to get started with and I'm very happy with it so far. I tried several other plugins and this one has worked great. The support has been surprisingly helpful when I've had questions.
I really appreciate your efforts with this plugin. It is close to perfecct as it has all the functionality I need. Very simple, useful and beautiful. Cutomization is easy, however, I doubt I will be updating it any time in the future as it took me some time to jump around files to translate what I needed.
Thank you for this project and keep it up!
Settings are clear and the unsubscribe feature in the email is great. You can also retrieve your subscribers which is where you get stuck with others.
Would like a bit more customization of the template but so far this is the best Blog subscription plugin I have tested yet.
This plugin seems to work for what it is supposed to do. However, the ReadyGraph integration screws it up. I'm not sure if the fault is with ReadyGraph or with Simple Subscribe but after I activate and connect the ReadyGraph plugin, a window keeps popping up that LITERALLY says "Opps! We could not loading. Please check your internet connection". As long as the ReadyGraph connection is there then this ANNOYING ASS popup window keeps showing up. I have to disable it in order for my site to be usable. Please fix this and this will be a great plugin but for now I'll give it 3 stars.
This is one of the best Plugin in WordPress for Newsletter service. I have use this in many sites.
Crashed (whitescreened) my WordPress multisite server immediately upon activation (both in network and single-site activiation modes).
If this happens, delete /wp-content/plugins/simple-subscribe/ to restore your server.
This program does not work bad at all. However, I would like to see it become capable of being integrated with e-mail services such as MailChimp, Constant Contact, and others, so I can offer this using the templates they offer (and be able to customize them) instead of using the basic interface provided here. It would enable me to send more profesional looking e-mails to my clients.
