Simple Subscribe is the subscribe plugin you have been waiting for. It's simple to use, yet powerful, bulletproof and developers friendly. Automa
Crashed (whitescreened) my WordPress multisite server immediately upon activation (both in network and single-site activiation modes).
If this happens, delete /wp-content/plugins/simple-subscribe/ to restore your server.
This program does not work bad at all. However, I would like to see it become capable of being integrated with e-mail services such as MailChimp, Constant Contact, and others, so I can offer this using the templates they offer (and be able to customize them) instead of using the basic interface provided here. It would enable me to send more profesional looking e-mails to my clients.

On a whole i suppose it works.
The simple stuff you expect such as shortcodes going where they are supposed to does not work and only support you get is "rewrite the code"
Jetpack contains a much much better and easier widget in my opinion.
During the past weeks, I've been looking for an easy to use/ easy to configure subscribe plugin. And will all of them, at some point I got stuck. Until I found this 'Easy Subscribe' plugin.
Just one thing... my blog is in Spanish... Are you considering adding other languages?
Easy to install, and easy to use.... I'm looking forward to seeing more features eventually so we can customize the wording.
Just what I was looking for, thanks!
I have a question though: it's only visible for admin role. How do I get it to show up for other user roles as well?
Updated May 2014:
A few months ago I wrote a 5-star review here: "Great plugin, great support!" but now it's all changed...
The plugin has been sold and it looks like there's no support at all. It doesn't work with the latest version of WordPress and the rest of the page disappears...
My subscribers who come from WordPress are receiving 2 notifications of new posts. I'd like to be able to turn it off, so I am not spamming them.
A very well done plugin well thought and simple to use. And complete too !
