Order your pages and other hierarchical post types with simple drag and drop right from the standard page list.
Worked fine for me, straight out the box, now enables me to have the 'pages' menu in my footer widget area in the same order as my top nav. Brilliant, thanks.
it works well.
Easy to install, simple to use. Effective code. Does exactly what it's supposed to in a very logical way. Can easily be combined with other sorting methods. Great plugin.
Does exactly what it says.
its working great . thanks.
If you want to use it on a custom post type you need to specify that it supports
$args = array( [...] 'supports' => array( 'title', 'editor', [...] 'page-attributes', ), [...] 'hierarchical' => true, ); $args = apply_filters( 'my_args', $args ); register_post_type( 'my_custom_post_type', $args );
Then, if you don't need this metabox, you can remove it:
remove_meta_box( 'pageparentdiv', 'my_custom_post_type', 'side' );
but the custom post type must be configured to allow both hierarchical and page-attributes anyway.
Thanks for this plugin you make my day.
simple but very useful thing - i've expected that to be as a core function
It works well on pages section, but not on the pots or other custom created pages like portfolios which comes with the themes. It will be very good if this plugin support all types .
does what is says with no need for new menus or pick points.
