Order your pages and other hierarchical post types with simple drag and drop right from the standard page list.
Use it all the time
Simple, elegant, and effective.
I'm using this plugin with PODs custom pages. Works great. As a side note for any other interested on this mix, you must activate "Hierarchical" option on each POD > advanced settings.
Thanks for such a nice plugin!
This is a good plugin and I'm grateful for it since it saved me a lot of time. However, I did experience some issues with page order not saving when bringing pages from the top to the bottom of a long page list (approx. 70 pages). There were no issues with bringing pages from the bottom of the list, nor with changing the order of pages that were close together on the list. Overall, it worked well once I figured this out. It would be even better if it was possible to move pages in bulk. That child pages follow the parent is very handy, but it would be nice to also be able to move groups of top-level pages at the same time.
Brilliant plugin, does exactly as described. Install on any projects where nested pages are needed.
Should be moved into core as it extends user patterns used elsewhere, ie. Drag n drop menus items.
I like the feature when I reordered the parent post, all its children also get reordered. I have used this plugin along with "Category Order and Taxonomy Terms Order" plugin and its working fine.
Thanx for the great plugin!
Thanks for this great yet hidden plugin :)
Really very nice and very useful
I've always hated the options that WP gives you for arranging pages. When I found this plugin, I immediately forgot how dumb the original set up is because I never create a site without Simple Page Ordering. I even made a short video to help others discover it. Rock on, Jake Goldman! You're the best!
There's another popular plugin out there that allows with a click and drag interface, however, it failed me because it doesn't update the ATTRIBUTE ORDER number (it actually sets it to 0 when moving things around).
This plugin actually updates ATTRIBUTE ORDER to the right number that you click and drag to. This is exactly what I was looking for and LOOOOVE it.
Thanks Jake and team, this plugin is saving huge amounts of time.
