This plugin gives an invaluable help to track changes made by several users and data import plugins. Thanks to the author.
This is amazing - I have it installed on several wordpress sites that I manage, and it saves so much time tracing down changes that have had unexpected consequences.
Great plugin to use when sharing your WP with other users.
As it says, its too simple but very useful, specially when there are other users with different roles working on a site.. I've created a Toolbox for me and Simple History is one of the tools in that box!
how many times it displays the old content if i changed my post or page content 10 times in a day should it display the entire history?
a very USEFUL plug
expecially in MU environments
check and keep tracks ur admins doing ( and mess) :)
I'm using this with the WPMUDEV Wikki plugin to make an industry wikki, and the idea when it launches is that Simple History will track the contributions and changes by the Wikki members. So far it's tracking just me and a reviewer and works well. Thanks.
This plugin's excellent. We build large WordPress sites, including membership websites, with front end editing and content submission along with all the other issues around multiple administrators in larger organisations. When we're debugging an issue or need to see what happened to a post five hours ago, this plugin is invaluable. Not to mention to fact we can log to it using our bespoke plugins too.
Best logging plugin I've found by far. Only additional thing I'd love to see is seeing the old/new values on the post meta when that's been edited.
We have several users making changes to the site, so this plugin helps us keep track of what's been changed. Also shows failed login attempts, which helps us protect the site.
Every site should have this plugin (though I haven't followed that recommendation yet myself). It's very interesting to see the frequency of random attempts to attack the site by logging in (not to mention what other, authorized users do). Well done.
