Simple Basic Contact Form is a clean, secure, plug-n-play contact form for WordPress.
The only thing that I wished this had was a field for an optional phone number. I found that replacing "Your Message" with "Your message - please include phone number if you would like us to call you." in the message placeholder field works fine. I know that there is a way to add another field, but it is beyond my capabilities at this point.
This is a lovely sleek plugin. I tested about six, but they were all way more complicated than I need for this particular site.
For anyone who wants basic contact feature, with just enough customisation (optional), this is perfect.
This plugin is simple, easy to configure and implement, and works exactly in the manner described.
Thanks for this plugin, it's simple and works straight out of the box.
Could not be easier. Many thanks for this plugin.
And yes, will be buying your .htaccess book. :-)
I like it because: 1. The settings menu is on a single page and you've got all in one glance. 2. When you customize the fields, you have them right in front of you 3. It always works - the mails actually arrive - this is in some other forms not certain. 4. The captcha with the math thing is far greater than the one with these blurry numbers and letters.
Really clean and simple as the name suggests. If you only need a contact form without any additional inputs, this is the plugin to go for.
Perfect when you only need the most basic fields for a form and don't wanna wade through millions of settings. Clean markup, easy to style with your own CSS if you want to, and not bloated down like many other plugins.
Not getting full score because it could be a bit improved UX on the setting page. The text/labels are a bit too complicated like "Uncheck to activate" which feels un-intuitive. And the Captcha/"Challenge questions" options should've been group because I wanted to disable them all and had to look around a bit. Minor things only, but keeps the 5 star rating away.
I've changed the admin email on the wordpress settings under 'general settings' and also the email on the plugin's settings under 'General Options' settings. But when Im submitting the contact form, the message are sending it to the old email.
