Simple 301 Redirects provides an easy method of redirecting requests to another page on your site or elsewhere on the web.
Does the job. Rock and roll.
I use this because I moved from a different platform, and although it wasn't meant to break all my links, it did. Using Google Analytics to tell me what people are clicking on to get a 404 Not Found, I'm adding 301 redirects so that they arrive in the right place.
Works well, and easy to use.
I having problem of redirecting url problem from google webmaster after changing category part in URL of all links. IT solved.
Just what I needed and works perfectly. Very easy to use.
It just works as you'd expect. Great work!
This plugin is simple enough to use: Just put the "from" address and the "to" address. I recommend that both be relative to root.
It's good for redirecting old pages, but it also helps with scenarios like this: I wanted to redirect users from "/categories/news/" to my page at "/news/", and this plugin worked well.
Works for me with WordPress 3.7.
One suggestion: Please add a "description" field for the redirect entries. Redirects can become numerous, and it would help in keeping them tidy if we had notes as to why we did a certain redirect.
The plugin has been useful all the time. But the wildcard support makes it outstanding! Thanks for this!
This plugin is just great and perfectly fits my needs as a developer!
You'll love it too.
