After the Sweet Captcha breech, I had to change captcha plug-ins. After installing I began to received numerous spam and unwanted comments and advertising to posts.
Changing to another captcha program eliminated the unwanted automated posts.
At least Sweet Captcha was still not letting them through
No captcha image is displayed.
Installation was quick and easily. Unfortunately the spammers could still register...
many spam comments from asia continent pass this plugin. Probably to many uses that is motivating spammers to write a dedicated bot ? ...
It don't have support for any custom form like contact or feedback form.
My old Captcha plug-in broke so I installed this one as an alternative. Annoyingly I went from getting a dozen or so spam registrations per day to getting hundreds. This plug-in attracted spammers rather than kept them out - almost as though that was the purpose it was designed for.
Far from me making a donation to the developers, I'm expecting them to chuck me a few bucks to compensate me for the time it's going to take to delete all these spammers I've now got in my MailChimp database.
The captcha can be broken by robots that register to my wordpress installation and try to publish articles.
If you use this plugin on your login page BEWARE. It will eventually crap out and prevent you from logging in. Your only recourse is to delete the Plugin Folder via FTP.
In addition it does not appear to block spam that effectively anyway. The developer continues to blame plugin conflicts, which could be true. But this is the second time its happend to me.
This plugin gave me so many problems because it couldn't work with my social media login plugin on my site. There is no way I can turn off my social media login plugin just because SI Captcha cant work when its on. So i had to look for another plugin instead.
I downloaded this one thinking it was the exact fit for my issues of SO many spam registrations, BUT it didn't stop anything. The very next day I had even more spam registrations. I think this thing does not stop the spam registrations like it says it does.
