Excellent plugin! Will be even better if number of clicks could be reset and the shorten link could be customised with our own text. I hope an update could be available soon to include this feature. Thanks!

Links will not work if you deactivate the plugin
By ,

It seems to me that this plugin uses its own database to track the shortened links. So if you remove the plugin, all your links out in the world will no longer work.

I'd rather use a services such as bitly that I'm more comfortable knowing they'll be around for a while.

There's nothing "Wrong" with how this plugin works, thus why I'm giving it a medium star rating. And it's basically how bitly will work. But I decided to use a plugin that integrates with their (bitly's) services/database instead.

Quick and Easy implementation for internal and external shortlinks.

Very useful if you insert many links in your posts.

WP_PLUGIN_URL should be replaced by plugin_dir_url() ?

This's a excellent plugin.But I found a problem when using SSL in my blog.
I notice all URL in this plugin are created by WP_PLUGIN_URL and the generated URLs are not start with https: when the protocol is that.
This issue make a warning in my browser when I using https://*.* as URL.
