I had been running WP 4.24, but I reverted temporarily to 3.6.1 due to some quirks with 4.2.4 and Shopp. While running the older version of WP, I used this plugin.
I ran the converter first, without using the Smart Cleanup, just to be safe. After the conversion finished, I ran the Orphan Cleanup tool to get all of the clutter out of my bloated database.
Database size was reduced from 995MB (!) to 12 MB.
Works great. The only issue is setting up the absolute path for the new images. That's a bit tricky, and if you don't get it right, the plugin won't work.
For many Cpanel users, your path is going to be something like this:
/home/cpanel_account_name/public_html/sitename/wp-content/uploads/shopp_images (or whatever you want to call it)
Recommended. I hope someone keeps it updated, and I hope that the Shopp team will stop using the database to store images by default.
Great plugin. It converted a HUGE DB of images, slowly churning though them, but reliably. I heartily recommend it!
