Amazing plugin! (But requires small bugfix)
By , for WP 4.2.2

This is a great sermon-manager plug in, but it has one major bug that currently requires a manual fix until the authors release an update to fix it.
It's to do with a conflict with the popular 'WordPress SEO by Yoast' plugin, and means that all our sitemaps break and thus it sabotages our chances of appearing on google's search results.
However, if you're happy commenting out a line of their code you can apply a temporary fix as described here and here.

Thank you!

So Much Potential...Wasted
By , for WP 4.1

I've tried using this plugin many times. Each time I run into an issue and each time I try to use support (which I paid for). Their support reply's are either long or don't come at all. I'm disappointed...I really thought this was going to be the next plugin to replace Sermon Browser, which hasn't been brought to date in a few years.

I hope these guys get their acts together or just pull the plugin.

Best sermon plugin on WordPress.org!

This is defiantly the best sermon manager plugin on WordPress.org.

Great Plugin. Little or slow support....

They won't answer support questions
By , for WP 3.9.1

The plugin works ok and does what we wanted it to...mostly. We had some issues that merited a couple of contacts with support so we purchased the whole deal and submitted a support email.

I have sent them a request TWICE and have had ZERO RESPONSE.

Download the free one and use it, figure out your own problems because these people won't ever answer you.

Great for Organizing and Finding Sermons
By , for WP 3.8.2

This plugin is great for organizing and finding sermons. It really matches well with the series our church does and helps us keep organized. We have two campuses and use Multisite and it works well in that environment too.

The back-end is 100% WordPress native functionality, works great, and is familiar to our pastors which is a nice bonus. I think the front-end looks best of course on the premium themes offered on the WPforChurch.com site, but I found the templates provided easy to copy into our theme and modify for our needs. If nobody in your church is comfortable with that, there are plenty of [shortcodes] available to put in any page or post.

I also want to note that I appreciate the documentation on the WPforChurch.com site!

So not worth the time

I really wanted to like this plugin but after installing it and discovering that it didn't really function the way one would expect, I began to dig into the files and find out what I could do to fix some of the functionality.

IT'S A MESS! Just absolutely awful to edit. There are files that I still don't even know what they do after disabling them completely and discovering zero errors. I'm really sorry but I just cannot recommend this plugin.

As for the front end, it's super ugly. The thumbnail defaults to a very small image and figuring out how to change the image size was pretty much impossible. I had to reverse engineer the whole plugin just to change the sermon image to the large version. I had to disable the feature that lets you browse sermon series by speaker, series name and topics because those looked even worse than the shortcode output! There's just no continuity with this plugin and I literally had to edit everything about it. And they have a "premium" version but the code base is no different.

Also, they shipped it with large blocks of code commented out in a few of the files... Seriously, just avoid this plugin.
