This is the Ultimate Plugin! 10 Websites and running perfectly...
By ,

Cant say enough about this wonderful seo plugin, as an seo consultant and online webmaster I have used many plugins, Yoast, lots of others, many compare, but none go the extra mile to really deliver all the important features you need to not only to please Google but they deliver the best features that you didnt even think you needed. And it flawlessly integrates into any site theme I have used so far, including Avada and many other popular ones. I like that I dont have to download lots of plugins to accomplish what I can do in Seo Ultimate... bye the way, spend the money and get Seo Ultimate Plus. They have specials sometimes that include a license and a professional consultation. If your serious about your site ranking in Google then this is the plugin for you.

Pretty good needs some work

A pretty good SEO plugin but needs a little work and the push for upgrading to premium is a little annoying but expected.

Don't bother with this plugin

To set something as simple as a non default canonical you have to upgrade to premium. This comes standard in almost any other seo plugin.

The best SEO plugin out there hands down!

This is the best SEO by far. I have just paid for the newest paid version and it is amazing. It saves me hours and hours of coding specific schema and silo sculpting. Nothing else comes close!

Easy To Use & Effective

Very easy to use and saves A LOT of time when re-doing internal link structures for my website.

Good Tool

This plugin is great if you want to SEO with little effort, it does alot of the hard, time consuming tasks for you.

Not terrible, but not great
By , for WP 4.3.1

Out of the box, this plugin is very lacking. It does not consistently fill in defaults on various meta tags and open graph tags.

Simple things like open graph descriptions aren't pulled in from post content. You have to manually add them to the SEO Settings metabox. The open graph image doesn't pull in the featured image as a fallback, which it should.

Open graph tags are especially important for sharing on Facebook. This is very much considered SEO and should be just as important as your meta tags.

Most of the modules it comes with are bloated and should be disabled as soon as you activate the plugin.

It also doesn't seem to do sitemaps at all. SEO by Yoast has fantastic sitemaps.

And a lot of modules aren't related to SEO at all. Like widgets, rich snippet creator, whatever "whitepapers" is.

Turn this plugin off, and your site performs much better. This plugin really needs optimized.

If you go through and fully customize this plugin, then it's not so bad. I've actually written my own plugin to fix a few of the problems, but another issue with SEO Ultimate - it's very plugin un-friendly. You have to go completely out of your way to filter the meta description (by using get_metadata's filter itself, which is not performant).

My all-around FAVORITE SEO / Open-Graph / Rich Snippet tool!

#FrustrationFree #Efficient #ExcellentSupport #AffordablePRO ---> #BrilliantResults!!! <---

I've tried 3 of the "top-rated" seo tools listed in the WP repository and they all seemed bloated with featured I didn't need and that either slowed down my site on a highly optimized HHVM>PHP-FPM w/NGINX server, or if they weren't slowing admin page load down, they were adding far too many options and red-light seo warnings that were completely unfounded (yeah, that's you Yoast). This was almost enough to make me say "hell NO to SEO" and just give up on pretty search results and the whole social network sharing mess...

... and then I found SEO ULTIMATE and noticed a few peculiar things happening... 1) adding/editing pages in admin was blazing fast compared to the others, 2) I could enable or disable feature modules that pertained to my requirements, and 3) after the no-brainer decision to buy Pro for HALF the price of the others, I found just a few issues that Jeffrey (the developer, not an outsourced support rep) called me personally to walk me through. One issue we realized was on Twitter's end, the others were my user error/confusion and Jeffrey agreed to clarify some example texts and update the Twitter section accordingly - but it ALL WORKS and it all works BRILLIANTLY.

I've never been so happy with an SEO plugin after being FRUSTRATED with so many other overpriced SEO junk plugins that I will honestly never purchase another license for after all they put me through.

Great Plugin

This plugin is awesome... and the possibility of active only the modules you want use is great.
