I'd like to set up my own SendGrid account and have it send mail for all of my subsites on WordPress Multisite.
Can I do that with your plugin?
The instructions seemed like this would be a pain to setup. Don't get me wrong, I love customization, but when I need to migrate 20 client sites to SMTP servers and give them an easy dashboard for reviewing their emails, I don't really want to deal with all of that.
Luckily, all I had to do was get the API key in my SendGrid dashboard and add it to the SendGrid plugin settings page. Two steps and done.
Overall this plugin is okay, but it doesn't work with email attachments. I posted a question about this in Support, but it's been a week and there hasn't been an answer yet...
At first when this update came out, I had a few php errors, so I went back to the old version. Works perfect today after I tried again. No errors.
If sendgrid updated the plugin, they did not update the changelog. I did not change anything on my end. I do not know why it is working now.
I had to rewrite your plugin to make it WordPress Multisite ready. Fyi, I uploaded it to github.
Right now Im getting this parse error and WordPress will not install the plugin:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /hidden-path/public_html/wp-content/plugins/sendgrid-email-delivery-simplified/wpsendgrid.php on line 60
It works just like they say. I wish it were multisite friendly.
We use sendgrid on daily basis and I think that this plugin will make my life easier.
