I have looked and looked for advice on how to achieve this effect ... apparently it is not a subject most developers think about, but should.
Clients do not notice the bland grey tabs and when they get themselves totally messed up, they contact the developer. Having a help tab that stands out saves answering a lot of questions that I have already answered.
