Brilliant plugin

This plugin is excellent. I tried a whole lot of others and this works perfectly and is the best I have come across so far. Thanks so much for creating such a wonderful plugin.

Great plugin.

Thanks a lot!

Also easy to remove html from content. No need for another plugin.

Just use something like as regex:
'(?i)<(?!img|/img|a|/a|p|/p|li|/li|ul|/ul).*?>'

Should be in every developer's toolbox

This tool has saved my bacon many times and in several different ways.

For use as a site migration tool, I love that it lets me search first to see what's about to happen before I actually replace.

Excellent Utility
By , for WP 4.2.2

This utility has been immensely useful for updating some old html pages I'd imported. The regex-based search and replace facility is excellent, particularly as it gives you the option to preview all your proposed changes before implementing them. Not only that: but if you spot any exceptions that don't work the way you'd expect, you also have the option to go directly to that page and edit it manually.

I would have given this 5 stars, except for one bug, which has apparently been unfixed for over a year according to a report on this forum. The case-insensitive checkbox, which displays when using regex expressions, doesn't work. There is a workaround described in this post.

This works GREAT! Had to imort 700 posts from an old site to a new one, from .com to .org, and this really helped me.

Saved my sanity
By , for WP 4.2.2

I tried several search and replace plugins. I was trying to add a div to a shortcode to float it - seems this is the only way to do this (go figure)

One of the plugins added escape characters to my string and then wouldn't let me delete them, by searching for the string it created.

One found all the strings but then nothing happened when I replaced them.

One did nothing.

I thought it may have had something to do with the editor

I was not looking forward to going through every post to change it manually.

But this works fine, made the changes simply and safely. So thank you

Thank you for delivering the goods

This plugin was easy to use and did exactly as promised.
Other search/replace engines implied a lot more changes, but did not tell me what those changes were. With this plugin, there was no mystery.

Fantastic
