This plugin lets you save your posts, pages, theme and plugin files in the most natural way: pressing Ctrl+S (or Cmd+S on Mac).
The amount of times i press ctrl + s by accident on WP is unbelievable ! Quick answer for a simple problem.
Thank you !
I almost always press CMD-S by mistake (naturally) instead of scrolling to find the often obscured UPDATE button. Now it my workflow flows as it should, naturally. Thank you to the developers.
Thanks guys - such a simple little thing but awesome functionality and one of the few plugins that requires no undocumented configuration - quite literally plug and play.
The plugin broke down after some major WP updates. I fixed it and the original author gave me repository access to commit the fix.
Everything is in working order again.
I'm so used to hitting Ctrl+S to Save in so many other programs, but it doesn't work in WordPress without the plugin! This helps me out a lot, especially when I'm testing changes and going back and forth between the admin and my website. Very big help!!
If this plugin wouldn't we would code it.
Simple & smart
This plugin works great when editing Theme or Plugin files via the WP Admin GUI, but when you're editing a Post or Page, instead of saving, it publishes...
I've deactivated it until that is changed, simply too easy to accidentally publish content that isn't ready yet.
Thanks, I was fed up with pressing ctl-S in the browsers; it completely disoriented me and often I lost my train of thoughts. Thanks for this little gem
Simple, and makes things so much faster. I don't know how many times I accidentally press Control-S instead of the 'Update' button when I'm finished working on a page or post. With this plugin, I don't get the browser's (useless) save dialogue anymore.
