Easy to use rsvp plugin originally created for weddings but could be used for other events.
Still amazed at how well this little plug-in works. I wanted some way to have a website where anyone can find out details about the wedding, but only those on a guest list would be able to RSVP to the reception. This plug-in did all that and more.
Simply uploaded a spreadsheet with the names of my guests, and sent the URL to my guests. It was that easy. Guests gain access to the RSVP section by entering their name or the name. If the name is on the guest list, they can RSVP. If not, the system tells them they aren't on the guest list.
I didn't want my guests to have to do separate RSVPs for each member of their family, but thankfully the associated guests feature had that all worked out. When any member of a family RSVPs, they are asked about the rest of "associated guests", and an entire family can RSVP at once.
Seriously a perfect plug-in for anyone looking to do online RSVPs for a wedding, event etc.
Love it, very simple an easy. Great wedding planing tool. Thanks!
The best rsvp plugin there is. Still has a lot of room for improvements and there are some issues with small bugs, but nothing too serious. Thank you for this and keep up the great work!
I've tried a few different RSVP plugins and this one definitely appears to be the best of the ones I've found so far, but it is far from great. It is definitely a great start, but has a lot of bugs in it and the Support doesn't appear to be active.
It has a lot of nice features that other plug-ins don't have, like the ability to add custom questions, the ability to upload/download guest lists and to have guests add additional guests.
But the bugs within them make these features less than ideal because they don't work as expected. For example, if a guest wants to add or RSVP another guest when they RSVP, this additional guest gets added as a new guest even if that guest exists. Then you have duplicates. Also, when the email is sent saying that a guest RSVP'd, it only reports on the main guest that RSVP'd, not any additional guests that they added/RSVP'd at the same time. This may not be a problem in a one-off, but with dozens or hundreds of guests, this creates extra confusion/work.
Another thing is that if you create your own custom questions using Radio or Multiple Choice, the answers are all listed on the same line. This behavior is different than the default questions, where the answers are each on their own line.
Also, if you mistakenly click the "add additional guest" button while RSVP'ing, there is no way to cancel/close this. So if your guests decide not to add additional guests or if they click it by accident, they must reload the page and start their RSVP over again.
Again, the plugin appears to have more features than other plug-ins, which is great, but it still has work to do before I would consider it great. Great concept, not so great application.
I am making a wedding website for a colleague and this has saved me hours of coding, great plugin but the only thing I dislike is that you can't change the front end (unless someone can point me in the right direction) by changing the label names and set the passcode characters as *'s
Was hoping for some smarts around meals, number of guests etc... Provided nothing like that. Skip this plugin.
This plugin is awesome. It saved me hours of searching and I believe that with the right man behind the wordpress site, you can create epic things!
I just love this plugin.
Very functional and easy to use.
Needed an RSVP form for my sisters wedding. Randomly found the plugin looking for how to set up an RSVP form online. The form was easy to setup and had options for everything I needed. Can't comment on the CSS yet but sooo impressed with this plugin.
P.S. thank you so much to the creators
This RSVP plugin is by far the best one out there for managing a guest list. It's definitely a must have if you're building your own wedding website and what an easy way to have people RSVP will custom questions, associated guests, and exportable lists.
Also, the support is amazing. If there's a bug, just email the developer and provide the steps to recreate the issue. He was very quick to respond and got out an update promptly.
