How bloc the seat?
Really good plugin .It is more better if the special pricing is available in the plugin by default .
We purchased their top of the line package along with the authorize.net plugin. It does take some time to set up and you do need to read the instructions to get it set up but it does work. It is very slow so I'm looking into caching plugins to see if I can get it to move faster otherwise we'll need to move to a faster host.
I have been using Row Seats for two MainStage productions now. I admit, I found it a little tricky to figure out the seat configuration within the Excel Spreadsheet, but their support is great. They usually respond to questions within the hour. So I just simply kept asking questions until I had it all set... and the result was a successful ticketing process online that customers raved about. We are a non-profit theatre company in the Providence area, and the theatre we use is an old 1400-seat 1920s Silent-Movie film house. It's amazing, but those are ALOT of seats to work with! This plugin makes it easy and professional.
This year, our second year using it, we had a few minor glitches getting it up and running, but all were on my end. And again, they answered all of my questions in a timely manner, even late into the night. We sold 400 tickets in 4 days, and our customers are very impressed!
I encourage those of you trying it out to stick with it- ask questions if you are confused. They will get back to you. And once you get the hang of how it needs to be set up, it is pretty straightforward from there. Definitely don't give up if you don't get it at first!
This plug-in is now being used for our 200 seat high school theatre company that had traditionally relied on paper ticket orders. The transition was very smooth. The Plug-in is intuitive once you figure out the logic (though it would benefit from an instruction manual). The PayPal interface was also very easy. Technical support was very prompt and helpful.
Admin side seems to work alright, plugin does not display the seating chart though. Useless
We had a really bad experience with this plugin, it generates duplicate reservations, we had really tough time facing hundreds of angry people, the email field does not have any minimum check on the email address leaded to some people to put incorrect email addresses that missing @ or a dot and they did not get confirmation message, really this plugin is a disaster and do not recommend for any body to buy any of its plugins or even use it for free because you will pay really bad consequences.
And after all what we faced, we tried to advice the developer but his answer was really unethical: "I don't want to do business with you and I don't care about any access for me to see what happened".
We were just trying to help him by giving access to the disaster so he can check and make his software better, but he seems not to care about the issues or he just basically to knew the problems and he is selling these plugins trying to catch up the money.
You don't have to take my word for granted, test it by yourself and you will see what we are saying is 100% true information.
I have used this plugin to manage tickets for a community theatre, and it works well. The support from the developers was very good and timely, they always answered my email within a few hours. Paypal integration was easy to set up. The price of the advanced features is reasonable. This is the only plugin I have found that can easily handle assigned seating.
Definitely not easy to understand. Once installed, all I had were read-only pages with no way to setup an event.
My guess is that you will have to purchase one of the advanced options to create an event which kills the purpose of an open source plugin.
Not worth my time even.
