Excellent plugin (especially for https sites), thanks a bunch - however...
There is one, certain issue: it makes the SEO canonical links in the head also relative. At least Google's recommendation is to keep these absolute URL's (for distingction between www and non www versions, http and https protocols etc.).
Would there be a possibility to keep those <link> tag URL's absolute?
I'm using this plugin in one site in a WordPress 4.0 Multisite installation. This site is using HTTP & HTTPS and I had the problem, that each time someone added a media link, the SSL trust broke.
Now with the root relative/absolute paths that won't save the host everything works like a charm.
Thanks for sharing!
Simply fine !
The only problem is it doesn't work on multisites.
Thanks a lot for the developer of this plugin, I have tried a different one before and it was not that good, this one is excellent.
There is only one minor problem which is that it does not convert the URLs in the redirection plugin.
