Works great even together with Polylang!
Great work folks, this is a fantastic plugin and does exactly what it says in the description.
Been looking everywhere for something super easy that can restrict content. Yay- found it here.
Ce plugin est vraiment très utile et je le trouve franchement simple d'utilisation, surtout lorsqu'il est traduit dans votre langue.

For people show don't use Jetpack this plugin just replace Widget Visibility in Jetpack. So good so far it is also more control more options, simpler and easier. Thanks a lots
This plugin works great. I've used widget logic but was running into some issues where it just wasn't working as it was supposed to. I have Context Logic a try and that was worse. Next I searched for Restrict Widgets and Voila this plugin pops up. It recognizes custom post types and is is flexible enough to show some widgets on one post type but no another.
Indeed, truly a excellent plugin. I find it strange the concept isn't a part of the core design of WordPress (?).
Having worked with Drupal for a period I've learned to appreciate the architectural freedom inherent in that platform. Not the least with regards to what/how and where.
This WordPress plugin enables design freedom and can have a direct impact on performance. Less is often more, this creation let you pursue it to the benefit of users as well as designers.
I'd call it an absolute necessity and core function! Bravo!
Immediately halved the speed at which my widget-heavy site was loading. Fantastic! One click to select the widget, one click to select 'hide on mobile' and it was done. Top drawer!
Keep up good work!
I'd been using Conditional Widgets for quite a while but for a recent project needed something that the client could easily use to control display of custom post type content (Widget Logic wasn't an option here). I found Restrict Widgets worked really nicely - clean interface, many options but easy to use.
