This widget will display a Responsive YouTube or Vimeo video in pages / posts and sidebars.
Unlike pretty much all the other options, it allows you to embed your own content responsively, without needing to fiddle with a thing.
I spend a lot of time researching on how to make videos responsive. A lot of time.
Many directed me to the FitsVids plugin, but it doesn't work for me.
Just when i was about to give up, i searched for "responsive video" in the plugins directory and found this one. I just need to go to the settings and select to make the responsive video plugin work on posts and/or pages, etc.
Then i followed the instructions and copy paste the video url from the browser address bar into the box provided. And then i add the shortcode to the post. And Voila! It works! No other coding needed!
You have no idea how much time i saved from using yours. Already donated :) Its not a lot, but i really thank you for the time spent in developing this plugin.
I was looking for something simple to use for a client and by George, I found it! Fantastic!!!
SO NICE to have a multimedia plugin that just. works. At least so far. And I'm using it in a pretty complex layout. Works on the desktop. Works on the tablet. Works on the smartphone. WORKS, with minimal angst on my part.
One thing: it appears that you have to use the full Youtube URL, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxxxxx and not the shortened version in the "share" feature. Would be nice to have it be flexible enough to use either, but NOT a deal breaker. It woooorks!
