My previous review said:
"It hasn't been updated in 2 years, but still seems to work just fine, though I am not actually using it with the editor (I use it coded in my theme in multiple locations) so I cannot speak to that. I also agree with the review by @thorshammer that it cuts off the display if it is long and near the top of the screen - it would be great if it automatically recognized screen position and changed location accordingly."
As you can see in the comments, the developer responded to my review and then fixed the previous problem. So, now it works great and, I think, deserves 5 stars. Definitely recommend
Other comments here about "button doesn't work /no button..." - I would guess ares due to implementation issues, since the plugin does work. I'm using WP 4.2.1 and the button works fine - although I always work in text mode so instead I use the [tooltip] shortcode...
SO yes, it works great!
~ the option to use rel="tooltip" and title="(tip text)" on other tags has some issues
~ when the tooltip-linked text is near the top of the browser window this script continues to display the tip balloon above - so it is partially or entirely offscreen; it should detect the browser position and switch to displaying below etc. (another script I tried did so, but had more serious issues and I happily settled for this one)
The green button doesn't do anything. Did not waste time deactivating other plugins, because I'm using them. Found another plugin that works perfectly: Simple Tooltips (https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-tooltips/). Go there.
No button appears in the wordpress editor!!!
easy, free and based on good code.
Thanks for this handy plugin
When updated plugin my contact7 went crazy and crashed the site.
