Good but one problem
By , for WP 3.9.1

When I invoke it from within category.php, works fine. But if I copy that code into page.php, no! :(

Exactly what i needed
By , for WP 3.9.1

Was asked by a client if they could sort posts different based on the category they were viewing and thought this was gonna be a mammoth task - but then I found this plugin and it was done in no time!

This plugin is a savior!
By ,

Many of the sites I build are with tons of posts separated in categories! I have used 3 other plugins in the last 4-5 years, and there were always issues and discrepancies, until the only one that was comparable stopped working with WP 8.1, so you can imagine how happy I am to find your plugin! Thank you! I could not find a place to donate - I would be happy to share my joy with you :) Please, post where we can donate.

Re-order post in the category of choice

As long as ordering posts in WP is not possible, this is the best solution.

Well done!

This plugin made my day!

For anyone trying to make it work with custom post types, it does as advertised. The settings needed are
'show_in_nav_menus' => true,'public'=>true, 'show_ui'=>true, 'hierarchical' => false
and for your custom taxonomy
'hierarchical' => true

Does what it says with fracking up the page. Easy and simple to use, instant updates!

Thank you!

Great Plugin!

Very good

Po francusku, ale obsługa prosta jak drut.

Language bug
By , for WP 3.5.1

The language file is not loaded.
After review your code, I found that you place the load_plugin_textdomain in the constructor, see the follow:

* Constructor
function ReOrderPostWithinCategory() {
   load_plugin_textdomain('deefusereorder', false, basename(dirname(__FILE__)) . '/languages');

The load_plugin_textdomain function should be called only in the WordPress init hook.

Quick resovle:

I place the load_plugin_textdomain in the saveOptionPlugin function.

//Action qui sauvegardera le paamétrage du plugin
add_action('init', array(&$this, 'saveOptionPlugin'));

It Works.
