Change wp-login.php to anything you want.
Just install and read Install doc. so you can change (on your setttings) the new access for your blog. By default: /login
You must log in to access the admin area.
I use this plugin (with installation by my customers) in about 40 sites, its very easy, and my apache-logs shows, it works! A most attacks does not reach the login!
Your plugin is smooth and nice but after WP update, it no longer work i that you can customize the login with your own custom text anymore! However, the plugin is good.
My hosting service, HostMetro, runs a server side configuration that automatically blocks access to any file named wp-login.php with a CAPTCHA. This is absolutely unacceptable for my needs. This plugin gets around that issue by renaming the login screen. Too bad it is unmaintained; although it does work with WordPress 4.2
I've tried many other plugins to secure my wp-admin & wp-login, but this is simply the best. Unlike other plugins which either don't work or very complicated, this plugin really works well. Thank you so very very much!
It simply works and it is totally necessary, if you do not use an all-in-one securoty plugin (and you should not).
Nice plugin, too bad that is unmaintained!
Works on 30 sites as expected. does the job.
Just one of those things that should come defaulted with wordpress
