I have been searching for a plugin like this for so long! You can actually select the post types/cats/tags you want included in your search results! FINALLY! A must for any WooCommerce build.
So grateful I found this and it's working perfectly for woocommerce search! We only have about 360 products so fingers crossed it will continue to be so good when we have several thousand! :) Thank you so much for a GREAT plugin Mikko! :)
I don't review plugins at all.. but this is pretty damn amazing!!
Very full of feature, works out of the box after the index.
Have some problems with my theme, but support was very helpfull and the problem was fixed. (the problem was on my side)
I had initially installed the "Search Everything" plugin, but when I went to search for a product, the product was showing up on the second page. That wasn't very relevant.
So I installed Relevanssi, checked off the "product" field in the admin, and searched my product. Immediately it came up on the first page, in the first position.
Absolutely love this plugin! Have looked t the forums for help here and there, and author response is always thorough.
A huge improvement over the default WordPress search function and a real benefit to users. Custom search query highlighting and factor weighting are awesome. Not quite clear if it actually weighs the text content of the post itself though. Maybe someone can answer that question?
I'm using the premium version and very happy with it! It works with my 4.5. I've been using Relevanssi with my sites for 4 years now and very impressed. It works beautifully out of the box and then may need a little custom coding if you want highlighting options.
Relevanssi has exceeded my expectations. With just a bit of customization it has done everything I've needed a search plugin to do. Plus I had a tricky issue that I thought was going to be impossible to solve, and the author Mikko quickly responded with a solution that worked. Super job, thank you!
Thanks for this plugin!
It saved me =)
I had a problem on my theme. The search wasn't seeking custom-posts and I couldn't fix at functions.php
but with this plugin fixed it.
