Relevanssi replaces the default search with a partial-match search that sorts results by relevance. It also indexes comments and shortcode content.
This plugin works really well at improving the native WordPress search experience. There are lots of options in the settings and additional filters and shortcodes which can be used to customize the search results. Not to mention the fantastic support. Thanks, Mikko :)
Natevily, WooCommerce search form does not look for custom attributes. But, using this plugin you can easily make it happen!
That's really hassle-free plugin I have ever seen.
Work great with my own developed shortcode, which render the data from the database table.
I'm using Relevanssi to search in a specific product category in WooCommerce. But it seems like it keeps showing all the products. Relevanssi doesn't show only the category that I told it to. I search the product category ID in its page and that's what I put.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks, the plugins it's pretty awesome, but I'm having this problem and it's driving me crazy.
PS: I can't select the product categories to index them, it only shows product_cat.
Thanks. I just tried Search Everything. It could not find my categories. For some mysterious reason.
To start with your plugin could not either - but efter indexing - Yes!
Simple installation and works like a charm. Thank you!
It took a little to get Relevanssi working with Genesis, but I was pleased to finally get it working! It can even search WooCommerce categories but not products! Odd combo, I know, but a site-saver for me!
That plugin doesn't work with ACF
Installed, indexed and working in 3 minutes.
