Muito bom simples e objetivo esse plugin cumpre certinho o que promete e não deixa a deseja parabéns ao criador nota máxima...
I get errors when uploading my 301 redirect .htaccess file.
I tried to set redirection rules manually, but it generally didn't work. Only sometimes I got a random correct URL redirection, but no clue how to do it properly.
Then apparently there is no support.
I needed to redirect from an old blog structure (posts ending in php) to a new (posts as directories). This worked great for that using a regular expression, when all my efforts at modifying .htaccess failed.
However, there's a "delete everything" button at the bottom of the options page that's the same color as "update" a little above it and doesn't pop up any warnings (unlike deleting redirects individually from the main page), which I found out the hard way. Fortunately I only had a few redirects to recreate, but that really deserves more of a warning to the user.
Works seamlessly, very happy, thanks!
I'd been agonising over the age-old problem of bbpress root not linking back to my custom forum page. I did some research and came across an article that harped on about this plugin. It did warn that it might be overwhelming but it couldn't have been further from the truth.
No sooner had I activated it, I clicked the 'settings' link, put in the URL to be directed from, then the URL to point to, saved it, and... works!
I haven't tested any other functionality but if you're looking for a quick fix like this (and I may still yet search for a function to do this instead), look no further.
I use it for url masking and it works fine for this purpose however it has stopped wordpress default behaviour of redirecting old urls of to new urls in case of post url change. I want it to stop disabling wordpress default behaviour. How could i do this. Please provide me some help about it.
I install this plugin on every WP site I develop. It really helps out considerably -- tracks 404, set up custom redirects, automatically redirects if pages' slugs are renamed -- so convenient!
I did have some issues in the beginning as I was learning the plugin's capabilities -- accidentally made some infinite redirect loops a couple times, oops haha -- but now that I have all the tricks figured out, it's a breeze and a real time saver.
Love it! Thanks for creating & sharing.
Many choices to set up! Not sure to understand what to do with all these choices ! I will look later in case the documentation is easy.
I tried on my local dev. platform and it works immediately.
I jumped on my website and started to divert all old pages (.html) to my new pages and posts.
It works just fine, and the plugin is still compatable with my former '404page' plugin that I will unistall later.
Thanks to the dev team.
I have no idea, but when I use this plugin few days ago for this site, all pages such as About Us, Contact Us, etc redirected back to homepage. It's kinda bummer and so I removed it. :|
The only nice function is the 404 monitor, but some redirections don't work.
