Intuitive Interface, Setup Surprise
By ,

I love how I didn't need to learn the arcane 301 redirect rules up front, I could do it gradually. The only surprise in getting it to work in the first link was traced a module status that said permalinks need to be enabled but were "disabled". What that term means here is that you cannot use the /?p=123 permalink format, you have to use any of the other options like /2013/my-cool-post for the page you made called "My Cool Post". Once you do that, the redirect feature works like a charm.

I have regenerated all post permalinks then used Redirection plugin to avoid page not found (404). Zero problem, effective, simple to use.

A must have.
Thanks.

Love the hits counter! a real icing on the top.
Works right out of the box. This is great because we have a custom "galaxy s4" page, and a lot of people simply search "s4" instead of clicking the s4 page, so now searching "s4" redirects them to our page.

It's working very well!
