Shows the latest tweets from a Twitter account in a sidebar widget.
does what it says it does
This is a great Twitter plugin in a sea of poorly built plugins. Not only does it output an unstyled twitter feed (perfect for custom builds), it's well documents and takes you straight to the twitter API page to create the keys needed to make it work.
If anything about it is complicated, then that's twitters fault! This plugin even has the shortcodes explained so you can hardcode it right into your theme.
Thanks so much for this. It's ace!
This gives you the twitter feed as mostly unstyled mark-up. This makes it very easy to fit in with your own site, rather than looking like you've stuck a block of twitter's site on your beautiful design. Other plug-ins (eg mini twitter feed) look more like a typical twitter feed out of the box, but are much more difficult to style to suit your website.
So this is the best I've found for professional website designers.
Thanks for this plugin.
It kept on complaining about my twitter username being not registered. When I checked the code within function widget, the variable $instance is only an empty array Array(). Is this behavior correct?
I tried this on a local wordpress installation.
Does exactly what I need, with minimal code and little fuss - you'll not need any other plugin to work with Twitter API 1.1!! Thanks to the developers!
i tried several other plugins. it was a pain. this one works!
Just tried this plugin after trying an endless steam of non working one. it's compatible with API 1.1 and its configuration is pretty easy. Glad i found it :)
After lots of problems with other plugins and the new Twitter API, this one works !
After testing a bunch of plugins I finally found one that works with the latest twitter API version 1.1..
