Can't wait to see how ratingswidget will increase our "cool factor" with our kid groups.
This is undoubtedly the best rating widget for wordpress as well as blogger and other platforms.
I was using this widget in my blogger site. But now I moved my website (http://micromaxunite2.net) to wordpress.
The only problem I faced with this widget is that I'm unable to display old rating from blogger site although the domain name is same only platform changed.
Highly recommended widget.
Update: Use high resources. Uninstalled.
that makes doesnt works good
Honestly, it's good plugin but some of these advertorial links just don't look great to users.
Uploaded the plugin and it looks to be working fine. but For some reason Google Structured Data Testing Tool did not identify the ratings.
Would be helpful if plugin developer could check this out.
I downloaded it because I wanted to use the star ratings in Google Rich Snippets. Then I discovered this feature was only in the 'Premium' package which comes with an $8.00 per month fee (really, $8.00 per month for stars?). Also, they only let you use the plugin for a few days, then the 'Free' version becomes stripped of most of its functionality and includes ads and other forms annoying branding. I actually didn't use the plugin after the 7-day 'Trial' period. After the company told me about their strategy via email, I uninstalled the Ratings Widget plugin.
I understand Ratings Widget Inc. needs to make money to be able to produce a good product, but I don't like their way of doing business. There are many companies out there that provide real functionality for free. And then the companies will offer paid add-ons that aren't critical, but make using their main plugin a little easier. I appreciate companies that use this model and I usually end up buying their paid add-ons. On the other hand, I'm buying nothing from Ratings Widget Inc. because they will only let you use their usable version for seven days.
I wish it was working for reviews on Woocommerce
I originally reviewed this as 1 star because I was annoyed that the only way to actually see any ratings is to buy the pro version.
I am still annoyed because it is a brilliant programme - I would award the programme 5 stars for what it is. However, I have given it 3 stars because even on the free version I would have expected a minimal way to view whether you have received any reviews. This doesn't happen at all. If you want to see if someone has added a review then you have to visit each and every page/post.
The pro version is way too costly for our charity and so we have moved elsewhere.
Note to the developer:
Is it possible to allow a small section that simply says, "You have received a review on this page".
We could then review the page to see the responses. It wouldn't affect the stats element of your pro version.
You must log in to submit a review. You can also log in or register using the form near the top of this page.
