Good idea but does not work!

Free version does not work as advertised

Just testing this app. I went through all the setup steps and submitted for compiling. Waiting...waiting...waiting. There is no point in using a plugin that accomplishes nothing. If the service really works it should probably only be marketed through premium channels rather than through free channels. Don't waste Website owners' time like this.

Not free

useless if you lloking for real free app maker and alway expensive compare to other online app maker service

Only free for Google Apps

In the Title, it is stated as follows: "Quickapp – Free Mobile App for your WP blog (Android, iOS & HTML5)"
This is not true at all! Only Android Apps are "free". For iOS Apps it's not...

Just browsing a few options for the possibility of creating a mobile app, and came upon QuickApp.

Looks simple, indeed it is simple to set up, then on launch, completely disintegrates the website in a mobile browser.

There was a note saying that the Android app might take up to 20mins to compile, which MIGHT have been the problem, but I somehow doubt it, as I just accessed my site through the internet.

Either way, I have a website that is fully live and being used, and have no desire to alienate my mobile clients for one second, let alone 20 minutes, and that's even if it indeed would work after the 20mins app compilation time.

I'd suggest try it if you've got nothing to lose.

If you're running a live website though, avoid like the plague unless you wanted to lose clients!

Does not create link

I am trying the free option. It does not give me the link to view and does not publish to Google play. From the PUBLISH TO GOOGLE button it returns to your options menu.
Get the same message "We are just generating your app please try again after few minutes." as other users. Is there any support available???? THis is very frustrating and time consuming.

Nice - but have some difficulties

To get a site made in HTML to work offline on androids and iphones - well and maybe even be small multimedia machines with pictures and music, or data, games - so you can distribute them as 'apps' - well there's a great market.
I tried this on two sites. One with some media material (music). And a more flat text based site. On the first one, it could not represent and play the music, which was posts. And on the other - maybe because it was responsive, it was not able to show the menu from which i could chose the posts. All tested on a Android.

Just so the firm do not think that i am cheating. The packets made was called wp345 and wp352, and made 23. feb. 2014. The two sites are called gissing.dk and filosofisk-forum.dk
