It works!

Works - does what it says with no fuss. Thank you.

This plugin saved me a lot of money!
By , for WP 4.0

My not-that-large website was becoming more and more slow. I was on minimal shared plan. So naturally I moved to more charged shared. No result. Page load time was not big, P3 plugin profiler showed no problems, my hoster support could not help but I constantly got 508 error resource limit is reached. So naturally I moved to VPS. Before I used to get 508 error now my MySQL just kept crashing. I was desparated to do anything, and then on some forum I ran into this plugin link. In just few minutes I discovered nasty thing which was sending 150-200 queries per page, which in total gave 300-350 queries per one page view. No wonder MySQL kept crashing! Thank you very much for the great job! This plugin saved me a lot of money, because I was considering moving to dedicated server, and as I now see even that won't the problem.

Number one plugin in my developer's toolbox
By , for WP 4.0

This is the first plugin I install every time I start work on a new site.

Being able to quickly see the at-a-glance info in the toolbar, then if needed to click to drill down to the details is a perfect combination. No other plugin comes close, either to the vast amount of information shown or to the useful and clear way its presented.

BTW - the second plugin I install is also by John! User Switching

Fantastic -- even for a non-coder!

I have been using Query Monitor for a few months now, and it's been absolutely fantastic in enabling me to identify problems so as to help developers fix them. The difference it has made to the speed of my sites has been tremendous.

Thank you!

I also would like to congratulate you on being named as the lead developer for the next major WordPress edition. I would love to see this one ignore all things shiny for once, and instead focus on improving security and on code optimization.

It would be great if, on installing the next major update, users initially think nothing has changed -- only to find their sites zipping along at warp speed!

I know you can't quite achieve that in a couple of months, but I do believe you are the right man for the job. Good luck!

Nearly indispensable
By , for WP 4.0

Query Monitor is the best way we've found to get a handle on database calls - super important for site speed and use of server resources.

What a great tool.

Just excellent
By , for WP 3.9.1

The level of detail this plugin provides it just stunning. I love it and it's helped me optimize several highly complex sites. Wouldn't do without it now that I've found it.

Cannot recommend this highly enough. If you are a WP developer, you will find this one indispensable.

must have

great and simple :)

Indepensable development tool
By , for WP 3.9.1

This tool is part of my default "dev pack" when I start building a new site or plugin. The data it returns allows me to see where things are working and, more importantly, where they aren't. It would become difficult to continue my work now without it.

Great debugging tool

Fantastic for debugging WP. Does more than just monitor db queries. Highly recommended for WP developers.
