Great plugin. Does everything it says it does.
There's an incredibly annoying ad on the plugin's pages which I find unacceptable. I will be finding another solution, as this is as far from professional-looking as it gets.
Its fine to advertise your paid plugins, but allow the users to suppress the notice. Seeing the same ad every time I load the page isn't going to convert a sale, its going to piss me off to the point where I will avoid using your plugins altogether.
Great plugin and perfect for the job however while our site only has 10 plugins we sometimes have performance issues where the site runs and loads very slow.
Got my server company to check and the said we have alot of processes running your webspace.
Installed a plugin checker and this checked the runtime of my plugin's.
Surprisingly Post Types Order uses 54%...over half of the runtime of my plugins. If I disable this recheck and test the load time of my site it runs and loads 'much' quicker.
Having our posts in a certain order is very important however this does come at a cost, performance and speed.
The plugin works, but its customization options are too limited and it does not fully comply with the WordPress standards. The "minimum role" option seems to have the roles hardcoded; why not use the get_editable_roles() function for the roles, or better: use the WordPress standard. You should add a capability for managing the order (maybe even per post type) and allow it to be set per role. That's how to WP capability system works.
Also, it doesn't allow you to specify for which post types the functionality should be enabled, which is in my opinion the biggest missing feature.
I like this one. It does what it is supposed to, but I think it would be cool if the developer added a hitcounter for each post, and also how many comments there is on each post. Otherwise it's great! :)
