Fed up with the lack of automated tools to properly crop and scale post thumbnails? Maybe this plugin can help.
I install this plugin on all the sites I work on. It may not be "perfect," but it's the best thing I've found to specify croppings for featured images. And the developer is very responsive, continuing to tweak it to accommodate other plugins' bugginess (e.g., Yoast SEO).
I been using this plugin the whole time and just noticed it added PNG Images to the ones I cropped and saved I put 75% Compression doesn't work. I was wondering why my site slowed up drastically and that is the issue other then that issue this plugin works great I wish I knew how to fix that issue I have to find another plugin that doesn't replace optimized jpg to huge PNG that defeats the purpose of using this plugin.
Yea the interface could be prettier, but it works! This is a really useful plugin.
Could stand to be made a little prettier but it seems to do the job.
One of the most useful and solid plugins I've ever had the pleasure to use, really.
You can define any thumbnail size, even customs, and crop them as you wish, with a very smart function allowing you to set a certain W/H ratio.
While I originally selected 1 star (on accident), I would give this plugin 3 stars.
It does work. However, after clicking the "crop and save" button, there is no "add to post" or "save to post" feature. After clicking the "x" close button, the post thumbnail doesn't appear to change so I figured the plugin wasn't working. After updating my page, I noticed the image did crop into my specific dimensions.
3 stars for not entirely intuitive.
The functions are okay, but when you open an image the plugin saves different sizes of you image without asking you.
Thanks a lot for this plugin who is one of the most useful I use.
Simple & efficient it help you to have a pro result !
It is that what I need in this life! )) Perfect job!
I don't find the user interface very intuitive... but still very useful
