blatant self promotion
By , for WP 4.5.3

Installing this plugin puts the a link with following link in the footer: "With Google+ plugin by Geoff Janes and Thorsten Hake".
This is incredibly selfish and inappropriate, to put in such blatant self promotion on other people's property in exchange for installing such a miserably limited plugin! Being a newbie I'm spending a lot of time figuring out how to get rid of their self-prmotion. Shame. You're both thoughtless jack asses.

Suddenly ceased to allow access to G+
By , for WP 4.2.2

Not sure if it is the WP 4.2.2 upgrade that has caused the problem but today I wished to load new page and embed photographs from one of my G+ albums and only receive a code 301 message.

Worked perfectly since first install and, the day before 4.22 was automatically loaded on my sites.

I searched high and low originally and again now but can fund no other plugin capable of the functionality of this one.

Thankfully it seems the embedded code only other pages still accesses G+ as the photos are all still there but I just cant get to my G+ account.

I hope this can be fixed.

Only works on public images now
By , for WP 4.1.1

This used to work great. Google changed the authentication call and this plugin can now only fetch your public albums.

I hope this plugin is updated to authenticate again using Oauth2.0 and be able to fetch private albums.

perfect fit
By , for WP 4.1

Does exactly what I needed to display my photo galleries and give people access to high res versions of our pictures.

Stopped Working!!!!
By , for WP 4.0

I loved this plug-in and now I'm in a bind. Please fix it!!!

Watch out for your footer
By , for WP 4.0

There's only six restrictions when submitting a plugin.

Number 4 specifically states as follows:
The plugin must not embed external links on the public site (like a "powered by" link) without explicitly asking the user's permission.

While the plugin gives you the option to remove this if you read through all the settings, it by default injects this in the footer:

<a href="http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/picasa-express-x2">With Google+ plugin by Geoff Janes</a>

Shame on you Geoff!

not as great for now
By , for WP 3.8.3

The plugin has a very limited functionality , there are tens of unresolved issues on the support forum. It seems the authors just do not support it any more and the current version does not work with the latest versions of WP.
