It is a good plugin, but for me it is nearly useless for one specific reason unfortunately; It doesn't seem to process the page for shortcodes prior to PDF'ing or Printing it. I use a lot of shortcodes and ultimate shortcodes through out most of my posts and pages and this plugin doesn't pick them up. Any shortcodes that create panels, boxes, sliders, meta data, buttons, GUI elements, etc, simply do not exist on the PDF or Printed version of the page and in that case the user is better off using the print function of the web browser.
Perhaps the author of the plugin could fully process the page, including shortcodes prior to sending it to PDF or Printer? I don't know the technicalities of this.
If you do not use shortcodes then this plugin is 5-star. If you do use shortcodes then it's hit and miss.
Thanks for the incredible support, highly recommended
I tried a few. Important was that no third party is involved. This one, even the free one, does everything one needs. Neatly printing the page content, even when formed from a shortcode. Really good.
I like it...
IS TO EASY AND CONFORTABLE!
This is the first print plugin I tried that does what I want, works on all browsers, doesn't require inserting short codes(I have many posts) and works with my Arras themes. Thanks!
When i open it in pdf window and try to print it then an unexpected error uccurs. In addition when i download it and try to open it then the file is damaged.
I received information from their PAID version of the plugin support team that they won't be making either version (free or paid) compatible with Page Builder plugins. So, basically the majority of WordPress sites.
Free version works great but is very limited. You can't control the pages on which the icons appear unless you buy the Pro version. Not many people want the PDF print icons on their home page, nor on their picture galleries.
When I purchased the pro version, the "add-on" plugin would NOT install. I kept getting error messages about my server didn't support zip files. I tried manually installing the plug-in upgrade, and it just failed with no error message. I also deactivated the free version and tried to install the pro version (this was recommended in their documentation help). That didn't work either. Who needs the aggravation, switch to a different plugin.
There are other FREE plugins which provide a superior experience, and install without a hitch.
