I nearly got put off using this handy plugin by the few bad reviews, but it worked a treat for me. Surprised to see something useful from GoDaddy to be honest! It feels abandoned though which is a shame as it's really nicely done and thought out.
From what I've understood, those using php v7 are not having much luck with this plugin. On my php v5.6 it worked fine in WP 4.4.2.
Schnell und unkompliziert.
somewhat misleading unless you have something really borking your site. when it sez its in fractions of second, only so much you can do from here.Otherwise, works well.
This is a great plugin for finding slow plugins. I use it all the time. The only reason why I am giving this a four start and not a five is because it is in desperate need of an update. The settings page is messed up a little and things sometimes go wacky on it because it is outdated. Please update the plugin and then I will change this to a five star review.
Good tracking plugin!
I found this on a client's site and I'm a huge fan! I'm trying to decipher which of the 47 plugins I have to tell him to cut to speed his site up… and now I don't have to fiddle around with turning plugins off and on on my development setup. A very handy tool—I'll use it on all of my difficult site improvement projects!
This is a good plugin to have in your toolbox for diagnosing site issues.
It can help you see what plugins take up what resources (memory, database calls, load time, etc). It's important to learn to debug your site the right way too using WP_DEBUG...you'll also find problem plugins that way as well.
Since I develop plugins, it helps me improve the overall quality by testing and benchmarking. We build a lot of testing into our plugins while we're developing them, but I think it's important to use this to compare them to other plugins to get an overall picture. Also, if you have a plugin that normally loads quickly but all of a sudden it's taking up a huge amount of resources, it can point you to server or site configuration issues.
When you use this, it's important to run tests several times and to put the data in context. It's also important to be aware that this can have some false positives because many plugins have additional functionality in the admin area compared to when you're logged out.
I also highly recommend using Query Monitor for getting really detailed info about which plugins are causing issues.
I find it so ironic that this plugin is so helpful, and yet it's created by godaddy, one of the worst companies that I've experienced (several times) when it comes to their hosting and the customer support for hosting.
I remove one star just because it has the godaddy name on there!
Love this one.
This really helped pinpoint some of the plugins that were bogging down my site. Really helpful to see where the memory hogs are.
I tried using it on a WPEngine site and it didn't seem to work at all? It may be because of how WPEngine has their hosting set up but it didn't test any plugins except for itself when I tried it on multiple occasions.
Awesome plugin, thanks!
