I just found out that the theme of I site I manage or some plugins created like 20 sizes of each photo... and if i cropped the photo: another 20 files popped up.
The server of this site was running over with unneeded files. One clicke on a button an there went 130MB of files! And the site still works as before.
Does exactly what it says it should. Excellent job.
391 images removed in 10 minutes! Great!
Absolutely seamless, cleanup got rid of 5,000 out of 12,000 images. Haven't yet tried new uploads with it, but so far so good.
(HINT: there is no configuration page for this plugin, the only evidence of its installation is the cleanup button under Settings/Media.)
Small critique: the printed language text in the plugin is just a little kinky in spots -- could use a native-English proofread/edit.
Well done. Works as it's mentioned in description. It removes almost 11000 unnecessary jpeg images which were created by WordPress. Saved alot of memory on server. Thank you!
Btw. this should be a feature of WordPress, not a plugin.
It doesn't solve all of my WP image issues but it's a great help.

Nice work OriginalEXE!
I like how this plugin works just as good as EWWW Image Optimizer while using up less memory than EWWW Image Optimizer.
It's a good plugin for anybody looking for an alternative to EWWW Image Optimizer.
After activating this plugin, I went to Settings > Media, and theres a new button that says "Start Cleanup." I clicked it and within 60 seconds, this plugin cleaned out nearly 900 unnecessary images that both WordPress and my Theme created over the past year.
The best part is I checked both my wp-content/uploads folder and my WordPress Dashboard Media Library, and all the "main" images and thumbnails are still in tact. Everything else has been removed freeing up a ton of space on my server for faster backups. Perfection.
