Delivered on its promise

Installed plugin. Clicked "+" icon on the widget I wanted to clone, and magically, a cloned widget with its data was created instantly to be dragged into a new location.

Brilliant...thank you!!!

Nice plugin!

Immensely useful plugin (with a few relatively minor problems)
By , for WP 4.0

The ability added by this plugin to clone widgets is a very significant timesaver!

I gave it only four stars for now, because of two bugs which have already been reported:

  • when widgets are expanded, the leftmost '+' icon on the widget title bar misleadingly turns into a 'V' arrow, but clicking on it will nevertheless still clone the widget. Thanks to Marco Chiesi for providing this fix! Hopefully, the developer will incorporate it into the next update.
  • when dragging-and-dropping widgets from the Available Widgets area into a Sidebar or widget-area, the newly added widget gets duplicated annoyingly.
Cracker of a Plugin

I had to give 5 stars for this, click the plus icon and voila there is the duplicate widget. Exactly the sort of plugin I like and thanks for saving me hours.

Keep up the good work.

Brilliant! Does just what I need

Having to manually duplicate widgets between multiple sidebars used to drive me mad. I don't know if there's a better way to do it, but this plugin worked perfectly and was so easy to use that even an idiot like me could do it. This should be built into WordPress.

Brilliant. Thank you.
