Adds a Theme option to any active theme allowing you to make a child theme.
i just installed it and i managed to set some personalisation on the child them (basically on the menus) and it works.
i would have appreciated, as i am not an expert of child themes, a mini guide for using the settings. like.. i am not sure if clicking on "child them" on aspect and adding/copying all the php/css files suggested was correct. i just thought it was. but so far it works and it is easy. thanks!
Works as advertised, so thanks! Just a question: after creating the child theme and then updating the main theme (Divi by Elegant Themes), my menu was a bit messed up. It was easy enough to correct, but am I right to assume that changes to the menu are not stored in the child theme?
Really easy to use and words perfect.
I just made a One-Click Child Theme review (video)
Seems to work with 3.5.1 but throws some scary looking error messages.
Gonna updated it any time soon?
It does work as it should, thanks!
Only problem I picked up, is some code that appears after the child theme is created that looks like it shouldn't be there.
If it wasn't for that I would've given it five stars.
I'm sure you will resolve it though.
I haven't extensively test this plugin, so I can't say for certain it works. But it seems to get the job done.
When helping on the WordPress Support forums, the biggest problem I have is when people need a Child Theme - but creating one is a challenge for most non-technical people. Giving them a plugin that does all the work is much better!
