We've been using this since before moving to WordPress. It's simple and easy to set up (especially in WordPress), and provides a better view of what's happening than any other stats package we've evaluated.
Our clients love it (always added to client sites).
Google's Analytics has it's place (PPC, A-B testing), but for a general purpose view of visitors and their behaviour, it's poor.
The other advantage of StatCounter is anyone with the login details can quickly gain access - so different to using Google's single sign-in ... which is a right pain when managing multiple clients.
A genuine 5-star application.
(And StatCounter's Global Stats are great too)
Excellent plugin and support. The analytic navigation is simple but provide several useful insights. I chose it over Google Analytics because it doesn't get affected by spam refferers.
Gayet başarılı. Gelişmeye devam etmesi sevindirici
I've been using Statcounter for years. I use it in conjunction with Google Analytics and I feel Statcounter gives you a fast view of visitors, page views, popular pages, etc. It's not as cumbersome as GA and I just have it open all day long to update my stats. Not sure what other reviewers are saying about how long it takes to implement, but I can have it up on my site and running in less than 3 minutes. Definitely 5 stars!
had it a few years, now. works great!
This is the best visitor counter and statistics that I ever used!
Easy to install, working well, multiple functions to get data from (that I never thought I would use but I did!) and in a very nice way to display them. I love the plug-in!
So much easier than Google Analytics that it's funny why Google still remains so complicated for easy tasks.
Not using the Displayed Counter - I mean, really? Who uses those anymore?
Withing the dashboard you can log into StatCounter and see all the results you need.
Excellent, easy to use plugin to add stat counter tracking from within the WordPress dashboard, love it!
It would be great if you could also view stats from within the WordPress dashboard, although I accept that that's a non-trivial implementation!
Many thanks, excellent stats!
One thing missing IMO at dashboard - at least I didn't find it: exclude current IP address from stats.
