I like it, but....
By , for WP 2.9.33

the text box would not show up. Tried several times and it simply would not show up... I don't get it.

Other than that I loved it. Had to move on to something else though.

Basic

Too many premium features, too little free ones.

slows website down
By , for WP 4.3.1

The plugin works but the problem is it slows my website down by 2 whole seconds (I have created two forms). The the confirmation emails go straight to spam. I had to install an SMTP plugin to get Ninja Forms and WordPress to send confirmation emails - in fairness, I am not sure if this is a WordPress problem or a Ninja Forms problem, or a combination of both. Ninja Forms also installs a banner in the dashboard that keeps hassling you for a review. Other than that it's pretty straightforward to use but I am looking for something more efficient.

Not Impressed

There is no way to set the width of the input fields on the fly without going into CSS. I'll be using Contact Form 7

Spams the admin interface
By , for WP 4.3.1

Ninja Forms spams the admin interface (three times actually), finally prompting me to write this review (unintended consequences).

The core technology is okay but nothing like as drag and drop intuitive as Gravity forms. The addons rope in a bunch of big names like Mailchimp. Unfortunately, the addons are coded in a fairly primitive way (bare minimal functionality).

The display technology is nothing special (i.e. your forms will not look great out of the box, just okay).

Ninjaforms is more marketing than a real advance in forms technology. A pity as a bulletproof, secure and beautiful forms are something we could really use.

Problems
By , for WP 4.3

Since I changed theme to Oblique I have had nothing but problems with our submission form that stops working all of the time. People keep thinking that the sent me their info, but I do not know about it because I don't get it....alla of the times. It used to work very perfect though......

Nags you for reviews
By , for WP 4.3

The plugin works fine. It will continuously (every day) nag you over and over to leave reviews, feedback, etc. Pretty irritating

Not updated
By , for WP 4.1.1

I wrote to Ninja 2 years ago and asked them to add the types url, email and number so that the input boxes work for mobiles. This has still not been added so this plugin is not recommended by me. I use Contact 7 instead as it has these types and I need to make websites that belong in 2015. It's a deal-breaker and should be for everyone serious about usability.

"FREE" ?
By , for WP 3.9.2

If you want no functionality. Then you can BUY extensions to make it do something real.

Good for you, if you want a basic form.
