Documentation is an incomplete collection of examples, help desk says: "we are not able to offer support for custom development on top of Ninja Forms, only for out of the box features."
While there is a lot that I like about ninja forms, there's a lot to be desired too! Alas, yet again I've been stung by the zealous update that just stops sending emails. Thankfully they are at least logged into the system. Gawd, I miss the days of s/w developers not using the public as guinea pig beta testers! And since the form is not a simple "dude! I like yer blog!" form, these submissions are kind of important. They mean $$. And yes, I paid for the update/support. <groan!> Back to Contact Form 7...
Total doesn't display. Help text doesn't display. Qty work around doesn't display.
Pay for Gravity forms. That works.
When adding/editing a form, the plugin keeps hanging in such a way that you cannot add or edit the fieds. Sometimes you cannot save the changes. There was an update and I "installed" it, hoping it would resolve that problem. Well - it did! The plugin removed itself, and all forms are gone.
Anti-spam question always remain the same...what's the point being an anti-spam feature then?
Your last updated caused my forms to crash on submission. I have 3 forms on my website built with ninja forms, and all upon submission gave the following error:
Fatal error: Call to protected method WP_Session::set_cookie() from context '' in /home/content/p3pnexwpnas10_data03/58/2506458/html/wp-content/plugins/ninja-forms/includes/display/processing/pre-process.php on line 6
I had to deactivate the ninja forms plugin until the problem is solved. Will probably roll back to the earlier version for now.
This is my website: http://www.thedogsnetwork.com
Please help me fix this issue.
I had this set-up and got everything working to get it filled out, but when someone fills it out and sends it I can't read it at all. All I get is a subject of "Array" when I open it the email is blank. I tried everything to try and read it including downloading the file, convert to HTML in gmail and still nothing.
I'm not going to waste anymore time with this plug in.
This is a nice plugin for the simplest tasks of form submission & handling.
However, it has features which don't work (multiple fields result in php errors & are not valid for email submission, but this is not noted anywhere).
The only solution to those bugs is to buy another plugin that works with this form. At that point, you might as well have bought gravityforms or any other plugin.
It's frustrating to feel mislead.
Installed it and it works but you need to purchase add ons to make display changes. It seems like a bait and switch.
Simple functionality costs extra after you waste your time testing it out. Doesn't work well with Genensis nor WP 4.2
