Display your content in the best possible way on Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Pinterest, etc. - no matter how your webpage is shared!
I've it installed and works great! The author response is also great (and really fast).
Planning to upgrade to Pro version.
Very well made, even though I have uninstalled it since I installed the excellent WordPress SEO by Yoast, because the Open Graph implementations I was interested in were just Facebook and Google, which are included into the WordPress SEO and are simpler to setup (fewer data to insert when adding new articles, obtaining the same effect on FB and Google).
Probably this plugin should be used by people needing an extensive and dedicated Open Graph implementation!
If you've been searching and searching for the best practice when it comes to Open Graph+ tag management within WordPress, then look no further.
Jean is worlds ahead of many of the "developers" behind the powerful plugins that help drive WordPress and make it the best CMS available. Not once did I have to wait more than 24 hours for a response from him when needed, in fact, all of the responses came to me within a few hours.
The unparalleled support Jean delivers is enough to make this one of the top tier plugins as far as OG Tags and social sharing management goes.
My client is having a ball with the intuitive interface setup with this plugin. Every feature and tag you'd want to display is included, and then some. Couple that with the already-noted epic-tier support level Jean provides, and you have a flawless representation of what a WordPress plugin should be.
Get this plugin if you want the easiest turn-key method to setting up Open Graph+ and social networking sharing.
I emailed Sebastien to get some questions answered on extending the capability of the plugin. The project is a bit complicated so I sent him screen shots and all.
Sebastien responded the same day and hour and pointed out other tools I should consider using. He also provided a piece of code that was to be released with the plugins update ( version 6.9)
I thank Sebastien profusely for his creativity and gift and also his willingness to share and educate. He is truly a gem!
This cutting edge plugin addresses something that is becoming more and more important.
You see, we are witnessing a re-architecture of the web, away from pages and destinations, towards an experiences built on the aggregation of many personalized pieces of individual content.
"Content being broken down into individual components and re-aggregated is the result of the rise of mobile technologies, billions of screens of all shapes and sizes, and unprecedented access to data from all kinds of sources through APIs and SDKs.
This is driving the web away from many pages of content linked together, towards individual pieces of content aggregated together into one experience."
This plugin makes adapting to these changes much easier, and positions you to be ahead of the game.
For me support is very important and this developer provides unparalleled support.
You can see the Social Button interface in the header of my Home Page at Video Seo Go.
In summary: this is a plugin that you won't know you can't live without, until you instal it.
Out of the box with almost no configuration, I have good looking Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ social media buttons on pages and posts of my flying club web site at http://www.hawkflyingclub.org. The plugin appears not just to add social media buttons to pages and posts, but appears to add the Open Graph and Twitter meta information automatically to each page and post.
In the end, the only configuration after activation required was
I was initially confounded by the fact that the Facebook button did not appear on my staging copy of the web site on my localhost web server, but it appeared without incident on the web host's server. I never did figure out what was going on there.
In the course of goofing around with the plugin, I did have to hit the "clear all caches" button that appears on the various OpenGraph settings pages for my changes to appear, and clearing my browser cache also seemed necessary.
I use this plugin mainly for Open Graph and Twitter Cards support on my blog, and it does the job better than any other plugin of this type. Frequently updated and improved. Definitely worth purchasing the Pro version IMHO. The plugin author is very responsible to support requests.
Over the years we have tried every plugin available to handle FBog data, but this is the only one that delivered excellent results and wasn't too complicated to set-up for someone who isn't a developer. Even better than the plugin is the fast support from a developer that clearly cares about his product and how it interacts with other plugins/themes. Great work!
Great, but not Compare with Woocommerce 2.0.13, if this plugin is activated, checkout form of woocommcerce will not show!
I had been looking for a plugin like this unsuccessfully for over a year. I tried over a dozen plugins, some alone, some in tandem - but NONE of them come close to providing the completeness and flexibility of NGFB Open Graph+. Did I mention it is also faster than any of the other plugins I tried?
Before I stumbled upon Jean's great plugin I had settled for using Jetpack for similar functionality. The Jetpack had a MUCH larger footprint and took up nearly half of my server resources just to use the Sharing feature - it didn't do half the job half as well as NCFB OG+.
I purchased the Pro version and was happy to do it, I would've paid more. I appreciate that it isn't a subscription price either, just a one time purchase - WELL worth it. Even the free version was better than anything I had used before, so do yourself a favor and give it a shot.
Thanks for the great plugin Jean!
